Product Description This pink pig is an infant toy that exposes babies to counting, colors, animals and sizes through the friendly role play of a piggy bank theme. In the Learning Mode, baby can drop one of the 10 colorful coins into the generous slot on the top to hear musical rewards as the Piggy Bank counts for each coin dropped. Press the "nose" for friendly sounds and a song about counting, colors, and big and small. In the Music Mode, each coin drop will play one of five short ditties. Press the "nose" for fun sounds and an additional song. In either mode, baby can open the clear door for music as the coins tumble out and the tail spins for additional play. Requires 3 "AAA" batteries (included).

Great toy! November 23, 2006 hollybloom24 14 out of 14 found this review helpful
This toy entertains our girls for hours! I bought it for them when they were 13 months old, and they have been consistantly playing with it for five months! The price is very reasonable for the amount of entertainment received. And our door falls off too (when pulled off) and it is easy to put back on - no big deal.
Kids love it! August 14, 2006 Darlene Fisher (Simi Valley, CA USA) 13 out of 14 found this review helpful
I run an indoor playground for small children and this is one of the favorite toys, regardless of the child's age. It is cute and is great for building hand-eye coordination.
Great piggy bank November 15, 2006 Michele Doyle (Ypsilanti, Michigan) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
My 1 year old saw this toy at a friend's house and everytime we went there she played with it. I got it for her and I ask her to go get her pig and she gets it. She LOVES the pig! She plays with it at least once a day. The plastic door does fall off a lot, but it's easy to put back on. The volume is very low so you won't get a headache. The songs are cute and catchy. If your child loves putting things into other things, this is the toy to get. If you have the Fisher Price Oreo Matching Middles toy, the halves of the oreos fit in the pig too and make it that much more fun!
Love the Piggy Bank November 10, 2006 Helena74 (Charters Towers, Qld Australia) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I had seen this on the toy store shelves and thought it looked boring but my mother in law bought this for our 2 1/2 year daughter and she loves it.Yes we have also had the problem with the door but it does go back on.It is better that it does give rather than gets broken altogther. My daughter loves too sort the coins into colours or the next time she might sort into the sizes.Like most toddlers she loves to open and close the door, take the coins in and out.At other times she will just dance to the music.I was totally surprised how many games could be made out of this toy and how many different things it would teach.Like the colours, manners(excuse me),size, numbers, songs.Overall we are very happy with this toy.
One of the Top Ten Most-Played-With-Toys in Our House September 24, 2009 goonius (a room in a house on a street in a city just like any other.) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
We've had this piggy bank for about 3 years now. Early on his door broke, and it only takes a coin or two in the slot before it pops open and the counting starts over at one, but I never relied on this toy for teaching numbers, so it's really just a minor annoyance. The kids don't care. They LOVE this toy. The youngest (1.5 years) loves sorting the coins, and carting them around the house in shopping carts and wagons. The eldest (3.5 years) will occasionally sort them, but these days she prefers to play pretend that the coins are cookies and other creative things. They both love to dance around to the music, and will play the songs until I have them stuck in my head for the rest of the evening. Usually I hate these electronic songs that accompany the new wave of "learning" toys, but these are actually catchy and kind of cute.
I'd never imagined when buying this toy that it would have such open-ended functions, but it has truly had enduring entertainment value.
Lately we've been weeding out a lot of our plastic China-manufactured toys, but I think the pig will have to stay. The kids love him, and they've had such fun with him, that he seems to be a permanent member of the family.
